Biography
April Howland is a small town Sedona girl born and raised. Her passion began when her mom purchased two books at a garage sale on how to draw cats and dogs. April was only four years old when it started and she used those books until even tape couldn’t hold them together anymore. Growing up she had a dog named Brandy, who was part yellow lab and doberman, that she hand picked out of a box of puppies at two years old. Brandy was a huge part of their family and this is where April’s love for animals began. Today, April has a houseful of rescue animals along with a loving husband and a wonderful 14-year-old-son. While she enjoys creating beautiful and moving paintings, she also enjoys giving back to her community where she can, and by combining both painting and philanthropy she has found her passion in life.

“With every new painting, there is something new and wonderful to learn.” —April Howland
