And the winner of Howland Studio’s Funniest Pet Contest is…
Winchester is an eleven-month-old, Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. He’s a hunting dog so he has a lot of energy. He likes chasing bugs and butterflies. He likes jumping into the shower with his owners and he’s always on the go! Apparently, he also likes hanging upside down and thanks to that, he is Howland’s Studio’s Funniest Pet.
Thank you to everyone who voted, judged or sent in photos. There was some fierce competition this year! But keep taking those photos. We’re already looking forward to next year’s photo contest.

Animals make us laugh every day at Howland Studios! I’m sure your animals make you laugh too. So this year, we want Howland Studios Second Annual Photo Contest to be all about the belly laughs! Send your funniest pet photos, (limit 1 photo per person) to howlandstudios@mac.com along with your name, your pet’s name and the year in which your animal came to live with you. Deadline to submit your photo is Thursday, November 3rd. at midnight. All entry submissions are free of charge

The winner will be chosen by the voters and will receive a custom pet portrait on canvas by Howland Studios. The winner will be announced on Thursday, November 17th via Facebook, Twitter and Howland Studios website, www.howlandstudios.com.

We would just like to thank all the finalists, voters and participants. We had over 1900 votes cast in our contest and such awesome pet & owner look alike photos that it was extremely difficult for our judges to narrow it down to only six. Of course, Michelle and Allie are walking away with the grand prize of a free custom pet portrait by April, but we are also going to be sending out coupons for $50 off a custom pet portrait to everyone who entered the contest. We couldn’t have done it without you and you fabulous pets! So keep taking those photos. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year.

Don’t have a photo of you and your pet? Join us at Press Coffee and Wine at City North, just east of Desert Ridge Marketplace, 5410 E High Street in Phoenix on Saturday, October 16th from 9 am to noon. We will be taking complimentary photos of pets and their owners for our contest on the Press patio free of charge.
